Included in this section are videos documenting Citizen Sense fieldwork and environmental monitoring, along with workshop and walk events hosted as part of our participatory research process.
The “Pollution Sensing” videos include documentation of the “Pollution Sensing” project area, which were developed from 2014-2015 in collaboration with filmmaker Catherine Pancake. The 5 videos in this area cover topics including, “Industrial Countryside,” “Environmental Exposures,” “Sensing Practices,” “Workshops and Walks,” and “Evidence and Governance.” The videos also include citizen-gathered footage of local environments and infrastructure, including documentation using monitoring equipment such as the FLIR (infrared red) camera footage.
The “Urban Sensing” videos include documentation of air quality sensing as part of our “Urban Sensing” project area, including a workshop and walk, hosted in October 2016 along with residents of Deptford, South London.
The videos, along with additional how-to videos for using our toolkits, can also be viewed directly on our Citizen Sense Vimeo channel.
